Former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain and the wife of the former Biafran War lord, Chief Mrs Bianca Ojukwu is back on the political scene. Not much has been heard of the beautiful widow of the late Ikemba Nnewi since she left her job as a diplomat over 2 years ago. She is now back on the beat in her homeland, Anambra, where she is currently drumming support for the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano who is seeking a second term.
Yesterday, while speaking at a political function, she said APGA and its leadership remains a replica and model of late Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu’s dream of a region where excellence prevails.
She was speaking at the inauguration of the Akpokuedike Fan Club yesterday at Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Centre, Awka, where the Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke spoke on behalf of Governor Obiano, and assured of continued delivery of good governance to State citizenry.
Chief Mrs Ojukwu underlined the need for the APGA dream to be upheld for posterity sake, stressing that those clamoring for the boycott of elections in the State should be well advised to begin such calls in their home State, adding that Governor Obiano should be returned for second term to sustain the dividends of good governance in the State.
She warned that Igbo Youths are the most endangered, as there is no visible federal government presence in terms of infrastructure, adding that APGA remains the voice of Ndi Igbo and should be supported.
