Lagos Politician, Babatunde Rajh-Label DIes In Auto Crash On Way To His Badagry Country Home

The late Raji-Label once served as Vice Chairman and Sole Administrator of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.

Barrister Babatunde Rajh-Label, a prominent grassroots politician and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday, Friday, 31 May, 2024, lost his life in an auto-crash on his way to his country home in Badagry.He was reported to have attended a meeting in Alimoso area earlier in the day. After the meeting, he told his people that he was going to Badagry. He drove alone since his driver had taken his wife and children to Badagry ahead of him. He was never to meet up with his family again as his car was hit by a trailer and he died on the spot.

A day before his sudden death, he was in Ilaro, Ogun State with his Principal and Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola where Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun had come to commission a project. Until he met his untimely death, the late BIQ was a popular politician in Ifako Ijaiye Local Government. He was a member of the Lagos State School Rehabilitation Committee. Said to be in his late 50s, the late politician once served as Vice Chairman and Sole Administrator of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.

The late politician was a PhD student of the Faculty of Law in the University of  Lagos. His immediate family, friends, political associates and followers have since been thrown into deep mourning.
