Epe Local Government got another boost in the healthcare sector as His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, May 9, 2025 performed the official commissioning and handover of the newly completed Accident and Emergency Center at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Epe.
The world-class emergency facility was delivered through a productive collaboration between the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Custodian Social Responsibility Foundation (CSRF), reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing emergency healthcare delivery in underserved areas.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in his address, reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s dedication to building a robust, accessible healthcare system across all divisions. He praised the partnership with CSRF, calling it a model for effective public-private collaboration in health infrastructure development
Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, the executive Chairman of the local government expressed deep appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu and CSRF for their unwavering support and investment in the health and safety of Epe residents. “This facility is a dream come true for the people of Epe. The newly commissioned A&E Center is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and will provide 24/7 emergency response services. It stands as a critical pillar in the government’s broader healthcare vision, ensuring timely, lifesaving interventions for accident and trauma patients in Epe and its environs.
The event was attended by key stakeholders, including top officials from the Ministry of Health, executives from CSRF, royal fathers, medical personnel, and grateful community members.
