After a flourish finish In her first term in office, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun has reaffirmed her commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, and accelerated development -as she begins her second term as the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government

PSOA took oath of office on Sunday, July 27, 2025 as Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu swore in newly elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the 20 local government areas(LGAs)and 37 local council development areas (LCDAs).Speaking at the ceremony held at the Sports Ground of the Governor’s Office, Lagos House, Ikeja, Sanwo-Olu urged the council leaders to deliver inclusive governance, fairness, and quality leadership at the grassroots.

In a remark following the swearing in ceremony, PSOA said: “As we embark on the second term of this administration, I reaffirm my commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, and accelerated development. No group will be sidelined. Every voice will be heard. Every ward will be represented. Every citizen will matter.”

“Together, let us build an Epe that our children and generations unborn will be proud of not only because of our rich history, but because of our bold strides into the future. Let this new chapter reflect the best of our potential in unity, in dignity, and in progress.” -she said.

Princess Animashaun’s first tenure  in office is marked with a distinctive record of performance and achievements that earned her praise across board. She was overwhelmingly returned to office by the votes of her people during the July 12, 2025 local government elections.
