Antony, the Manchester United midfielder, is facing fresh allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, who recently shared new evidence regarding alleged assaults during her pregnancy. The revelations, including photographs and message screenshots, suggest a series of incidents between June 2022 and May 2023.
Cavallin made these claims in an interview featured on the Brazilian website UOL, which was published on Monday, September 4, 2023. In a statement posted on B24 (formerly Twitter), she recounted a disturbing threat made by Antony: “He said that if I didn’t stay with him, I wouldn’t stay with anyone. That I was pregnant with his child. Either I would stay with him or I, he, and our son would die. I told him I was pregnant, that he was scaring me, making my heart race. I was shaking with fear.”
In response, Cavallin filed a police complaint against Antony in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in June 2023, and she has also lodged a complaint with the Greater Manchester Police. Antony previously addressed the accusations on his Instagram account in June 2023, stating, “After submitting my statement at the police station where an investigation involving my name is being conducted, I wanted to speak for the first time since I was falsely accused of assault.” He emphasized the toll the situation had taken on him and his family.
