Ballon d’Or Awards 2024: UEFA and Groupe Amaury Join Forces for Football’s Grandest Honor

The Ballon d’Or awards, starting from 2024, will be co-organized by UEFA and Groupe Amaury, the publishers of France Football and L’Equipe. As a result of this partnership, UEFA will discontinue its own player of the year award, which recognizes the top players in the UEFA Champions League.

In the most recent Ballon d’Or ceremony on October 30, 2023, held in Paris, Lionel Messi secured the men’s prize for the eighth time, and Aitana Bonmatí claimed the women’s award.
