Benjamin Mendy Initiates Legal Action Against Manchester City

Benjamin Mendy, the former Manchester City player, has taken legal action against his ex-employers, alleging they failed to pay him his wages. The French international, who was acquitted of charges related to rape and sexual assault earlier this year, filed a multi-million-pound claim for unauthorized wage deductions.

Mendy, who joined City in 2017 for a record-breaking £52 million, seeks the unpaid wages until the conclusion of his contract in June 2023. Sky Sports News has confirmed that Nick De Marco KC is representing Mendy in this Employment Tribunal case against Manchester City FC.
