Callum Hudson-Odoi, the 22-year-old footballer, has made a significant move to Nottingham Forest from Chelsea, officially inking a three-year contract with the City Ground.
Hudson-Odoi had been linked with Steve Cooper’s squad for a while and is now set to join the team following his loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen last season.
Upon his arrival at Nottingham Forest, Hudson-Odoi expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Being here is a massive step for me, and I’m eagerly anticipating the start of this new chapter. It’s comforting to see familiar faces; I already know a few of the guys, and I’m well-acquainted with the manager. Forest is a renowned club with a history of winning major trophies, and I’m thrilled to step onto The City Ground pitch. I’ve witnessed the incredible atmosphere a couple of times, and I can’t wait to play in front of the Forest fans.”
Having spent 16 years at Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi’s career at Stamford Bridge didn’t quite live up to its early promise, and his last appearance for the Blues was in March 2022. During his time with Chelsea, he managed to net 16 goals in 126 games and earned three caps for the England national team.
