The Osile Oke-Ona Oba (Dr) Adedapo Tejuoso, Karunwi III yesterday Saturday, February 8 2025, installed Chief Mrs Afolashade Irene Kokumo as the 4th Iyalode of Oke-Ona Egba. Her husband Retired DIG Babatunde Johnson Kokumo was also installed as the Mayegun of Oke-Ona Egba, Abeokuta Ogun state.
The colourful chieftaincy installation ceremony was held at the Osile’s palace located in Sapon, Abeokuta. The day climaxed with a grand reception party hosted by the couple at their private residence located within Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta -attended by many dignitaries. 
Chief Mrs Kokumo (the 4th Iyalode Oke-Ona Egba) took over from the late Iyalode Alaba Lawson. 
She is a retired Permanent Secretary in Ogun State, while her husband is a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police.
