Erik Ten Hag Provides Injury Status Prior to Copenhagen Match

Manchester United’s manager, Erik Ten Hag, provided an injury update ahead of their upcoming match against Copenhagen. The team has faced a tough start in the competition, losing to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray at the Allianz Arena and Old Trafford. The Red Devils are eager to return to winning form.

In a press conference, Ten Hag mentioned that Sergio Reguilon might become available again, potentially alleviating the club’s defensive issues. Reguilon had been training the previous week and was expected to make a comeback in the 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday, but he was sidelined due to illness.

Ten Hag stated, “Sergio fell ill on Saturday, even though he was fit. He trained throughout the week, and he resumed partial training on Sunday. Today, he will have a full training session, and then we’ll assess his readiness and fitness for the game and his potential involvement in the squad. We’ll have to wait and see.”

This update brings relief to Manchester United supporters, as they’ve been without a left-back since the injuries to Reguilon, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia. In the absence of these players, Sofyan Amrabat and Victor Lindelof have been filling in at left-back.
