When she became a beauty queen in 2002, at 20, Sylvia was a student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. In 2004, at 22, she got married to her multi-millionaire businessman, Chris Emechete, and relocated to the United Kingdom afterwards. Now a mother of two girls, (a set of grown up twins).
