Jadon Sancho, currently under criticism at Manchester United, responded to reports linking him to Borussia Dortmund by liking a post from transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano.
The post, dated January 10, 2024, confirmed an agreement between Dortmund and Manchester United for Sancho’s loan, without a buy option. Sancho, who hasn’t played for United since August 2023, had a public fallout with Erik Ten Hag and is set to undergo a medical for the loan move to Dortmund, with the German club covering part of the salary and the loan fee amounting to €4m.
Despite his statement being deleted, Sancho has not apologized to Ten Hag, training alone and facing restrictions from team facilities since September 3, 2023. His last competitive start for United was in the FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City on June 3, 2023.
