Nigerian music sensation, Kizz Daniel, has responded to allegations of his arrest in Ivory Coast over purportedly accepting payment and then refusing to perform.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, the singer clarified that his agent had signed a contract with a “no money, no performance” clause. He added that he chose to proceed with the performance, even in the face of a delay in bank transfer and the promise of receiving his payment upon arrival in the country.
Kizz Daniel further disclosed that he commenced the performance despite not receiving his fee but was compelled to halt the show when his team faced an attack backstage. He emphasized that he was not arrested and has since left the country.
