Labour Party Chairman Challenges Nigerians to Confront Tinubu-led Administration

The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, has called on Nigerians and the opposition to confront the administration led by President Bola Tinubu, alleging that it has caused widespread damage to all sectors of the country.

Speaking in Lagos on Sunday, Abure expressed concern over the country’s deteriorating development indicators, suggesting a regression in progress.

He emphasized that simply winning an election is not enough; what truly matters is how power is used to improve lives and address critical issues such as security, infrastructure, and the economy.

Abure criticized the current APC government under Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as a failure that has brought immense hardship to Nigerians. He highlighted the irony of Nigeria, a country with abundant resources, needing to rely on foreign aid for basic necessities.

According to Abure, the LP is the only party capable of restoring hope and changing Nigeria’s political course for the better. He urged the populace not to remain passive or support bad leadership for short-term gains, emphasizing the importance of unity in challenging and removing what he termed an oligarchy in power.
