Manchester United’s forward, Marcus Rashford, has come under scrutiny from club supporters due to his underwhelming performance this season. Speculation has arisen about his future with the club, especially after a recent incident involving him and United manager Erik ten Hag. Rashford had to apologize to Ten Hag for attending a nightclub party to celebrate his birthday following a 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
Reports suggested that after the City match, Rashford went to a nightclub for a pre-arranged birthday celebration shortly after the Old Trafford loss. However, Rashford addressed concerns about his future in response to a tweet from The United Stand, a Manchester United fan page on the platform formerly known as Twitter. The 26-year-old dismissed doubts, stating,
“Please STOP spreading malicious rumors.”
Erik Ten Hag is hopeful that Rashford will regain the fantastic form he displayed last season, during which he scored 30 goals across all competitions.
Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.
