Mikel Arteta Provides Latest on Bukayo Saka’s Injury Status

Arsenal Football Club will be missing their star midfielder, Bukayo Saka, when they take on Brentford in the Carabao Cup’s third round. The club’s manager, Mikel Arteta, confirmed this during a pre-match press conference ahead of their match against Brentford. Arteta mentioned that Saka won’t be able to play in this game but should recover in time for the Premier League match against Bournemouth.

Arteta explained, “After the last match, Bukayo was limping noticeably, and we had to substitute him, which is always a concern. He hasn’t been able to join the training sessions.” When asked about the likelihood of Saka featuring against Bournemouth, Arteta responded, “Yes, there’s a possibility.”
