My Upcoming Collaboration with Tiwa Savage Will Happen In Due Time,” Says Yemi Alade

African sensation Yemi Alade has confirmed that a much-anticipated collaboration with Tiwa Savage is on the horizon. During an interview on the Big Friday Show with Online Air personality Tacha, Yemi Alade, also known as Mama Africa, expressed her excitement about the potential collaboration between two of Africa’s musical powerhouses. Despite years of speculation about any possible differences between the two artists, Yemi Alade reassured fans by saying, “I feel like a collaboration like that is very special and will happen in due time. A lot of people have been asking, and it will eventually happen at the right moment.”

In addition to this exciting news, Yemi Alade hinted at her upcoming album, set to release in 2024, although no official date has been announced. Furthermore, Yemi Alade was chosen to create the official song for the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations, taking place from January 13 to February 11, 2024. The track, titled ‘Akwaba,’ was a collaborative effort with Ivorian group Magic System, global sensation Premier Gaou, Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan, and Yemi Alade herself. Her achievements were celebrated at the inaugural Trace Music Awards, where she claimed the title of Best Music Video for her song ‘Baddie.’

On the other hand, global superstar Tiwa Savage has had to reschedule her performance and tour dates originally planned for November due to a vocal infection, requiring her to observe strict vocal rest for the foreseeable future.
