American rapper Polo G is taking legal action against a European tour booking firm for allegedly promoting canceled concerts, branding the actions as “shocking and outrageous fraud.” Polo G’s lawyers assert that the booking firm failed to comply with demands to remove the artist’s name and image from various platforms after the cancellation.
The dispute, initially centered on a contract for 10 concerts, involves Polo G seeking a ruling that he had no obligation to perform due to an injury. Additionally, the lawsuit extends to intellectual property claims, accusing the firm of wrongfully using Polo G’s “name, likeness, and trademark” even after terminating the deal, causing irreparable harm to his reputation.
