Ramadan And Lent Fasting: IBD Foundation Distributes Food Items To Muslims And Christians

This gesture has been the foundation’s consistent practice since 2011.

Religious leaders in Ilaro, Oja-Odan, Ebute, and various parts of Ogun State have expressed gratitude to the IBD Foundation for its generous distribution of Ramadan and Lent fasting packages to people across the communities. The food packages (worth multiple millions of Naira) that include ample quantities of yams, beans, and rice are distributed with the aim of providing relief to the needy, widows, and the less privileged within the Muslim and Christian communities during the holy month of Ramadan.

Several churches and mosques in Ilaro, such as the Central Mosque, Nawarudeen Mosque, Ajumoni Central Mosque, Ansarudeen Central Mosque, Bibire Central Mosque, NASFAT, Higher Ground Church, Celestial Church Sabo, C&S Church Oke Ola, United African Methodist Church, and Church of The Firstborn, among others, have benefited from this kind gesture. Similar distributions have also taken place in Ebute and Oja-Odan areas of Yewa North Local Government in Ogun State.

IBD Foundation donates to Christians and Muslims during Ramadan and Lent fasting [VIDEO]

This gesture has been the foundation’s consistent practice since 2011. The Ibrahim Dende Foundation has been actively providing support to both Christian and Muslim communities during significant religious occasions such as Ramadan and Easter. This demonstrates the foundation’s commitment to caring for and serving all individuals, irrespective of their religious background. It has also been consistently clarified that these acts of benevolence by Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun (founder of the IBD Foundation) are driven solely by his desire to make positive impacts in the lives of people in need and they are not motivated by any political ambitions.

In their remarks, the religious leaders expressed profound appreciation to the founder and his wife, Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun and Alhaja Omolara Dende Egungbohun, for their dedication and efforts towards making people in various communities smile during the holy month of Ramadan. One of the clerics emphasized that these care packages serve as a beautiful reminder that compassion transcends religious boundaries. They also expressed their hope that Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun’s good works continue to inspire others.

Leaders from both the Muslim and Christian communities also used the opportunity to offer prayers for the  Egungbohuns. At Higher Ground Church, the pastor commended IBD Foundation for displaying the true spirit of giving. Imam Akewusola of Nawarudeen Mosque also prayed for Alhaji Ibrahim’s continued success in his endeavors and strength to overcome any obstacles that may arise.

On various social media platforms, individuals expressed their deep appreciation for the IBD Foundation’s efforts in ensuring that the community is well taken care of during the holy month of Ramadan. They acknowledged that the Ramadan packages provided much-needed support, especially during these challenging times. The distribution of yams and beans in significant quantities ensured that families and individuals had access to nutritious meals throughout the month.

One Facebook user, Oluseye Ahmed Adeolu, shared the positive impact of the IBD Foundation’s visit to the Muslim community in Ebute Igbooro, Yewa North. Another user, Prince Taiwo Ahosu, highlighted Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun’s exceptional generosity and philanthropic activities, emphasizing that his goal is not about money alone but about making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
