Real Madrid has officially announced that Rodrygo has extended his contract with the Galacticos, ensuring his presence at the club until the summer of 2028. Rodrygo, who joined Real Madrid in 2019 at the age of 18, made his debut for Real Madrid Castilla on September 14 and marked his official debut with Real Madrid on September 25, 2019, with a goal. Notably, Real Madrid has set his buy-out clause at a staggering one billion pounds.

During his impressive five-year stint at the club, the 23-year-old has been a standout performer, participating in 179 games, scoring 39 goals, and contributing to the club’s collection of 8 titles, including 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 La Liga championships, 1 Copa del Rey, and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
