Afrobeats sensation Seun Kuti made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week, joining forces with the French label Casablanca. Stepping onto the catwalk with the confidence befitting his lineage as the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti showcased a vibrant green and white ensemble.
This eye-catching outfit was a standout piece from Casablanca’s Printemps-Été 2024 collection, which was aptly named “Day of Victory.” Collaborating with stylists Ola Ebiti and Helena Tejedor, the Afrobeats artist donned a green and white bodysuit known as “Stuntman on Set.” Casablanca’s “Day of Victory” show aimed to pay homage to renowned artists and activists while emphasizing the promising future of Africa. It served as a remarkable fusion of culture and philosophy, bridging the worlds of Nigeria and Casablanca.
