In a viral video shared on @nollywoodcital, the mother of one issued a gentle warning, expressing her preference for being addressed by name or even with the title “sir” instead of the conventional “ma.” Simi reflected on the origins of this heightened formality, noting that it began around the age of 20.
Simi, grateful for her fans’ admiration, pointed out that despite the appreciation, she sees herself as quite young. She urged her followers to avoid using “ma” when addressing her.
