Singer Davido Shares Well Wishes for Zimbabwe's Presidential Election

Renowned artist and entertainer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, took to his social media platform today, August 23, 2023, to express his thoughts on Zimbabwe’s ongoing presidential election.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Davido extended his best wishes to the people of Zimbabwe, hoping for a successful and peaceful election process as they make their choice for the nation’s next president.

Even while in Ghana, Davido made an exciting announcement, confirming that he’ll release the music video for his chart-topping hit “Feel” once it crosses the remarkable milestone of 100 million views on YouTube.

This election marks a significant moment in Zimbabwe’s history, only the second democratic election and the first presidential election since the late Robert Mugabe’s tenure. Today, on August 23, 2023, Zimbabweans will cast their votes to determine their new president, alongside 210 national lawmakers and 1,970 local government and municipal leaders.
