The Super Falcons of Nigeria, nine-time Africa Champions, aim to clinch their tenth Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title.
Having secured their qualification for the tournament hosted in Morocco, the Nigerian side emerged victorious in a 2-1 match against Cape Verde, with Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Okoronkwo finding the net at the Estadio Nacional De Cabo Verde on December 5, 2023.
This win, following a 5-0 thrashing of Cape Verde in the previous week in Abuja, solidifies Nigeria’s spot in Morocco for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
