UEFA Reveals Hosts for 2028 and 2032 Nations Cup

UEFA, the governing body of European football, has officially announced the host nations for the European Nations Cup in 2028 and 2032.

This exciting revelation occurred during a ceremony held at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. For the 2028 tournament, two nations will serve as co-hosts, and the same arrangement will be in place for the 2032 edition of EURO.

UEFA has revealed that the UEFA EURO 2028 will be jointly hosted by the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. In a surprising turn of events, the Italian and Turkish football associations, initially bidding independently, have come together to present a joint bid for hosting EURO 2032. During the decision-making process, presentations made during the meeting played a crucial role in evaluating the bid submissions before a final verdict was reached.

Aleksandr Ceferin, the President of UEFA, offered his congratulations to the participating teams at the event ceremony and expressed his anticipation for the upcoming competitions, saying, “I extend my congratulations to both the bidders and host associations, whose unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment have been duly recognized today. Together, we will create unforgettable editions of this prestigious tournament, fostering unity and celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship.”
