Victony has officially inked a global record deal with an international record label formed through a partnership between Avex USA Publishing and Coup D’Etat Music. The talented artist, Victony, managed by a skilled team including Jemedafe Caleb of KVLT WRLD, Tobi Mohammed, David Edogame, Abiodun “Bizzle” Osikoya, and Asa Asika from The Plug Entertainment, as well as represented by Kelvin Nana from Bray & Krais, has received well-deserved recognition for his significant contributions to the Afrobeats genre. Avex USA Publishing and Coup D’Etat Music have joined forces to provide him with a bigger platform for his music.
Matt Geffen, the founder and CEO of Coup D’Etat Music, expressed his enthusiasm for this exciting partnership. He mentioned, “We’re thrilled to welcome Victony and our exceptional partners at KVLT WRLD and The Plug Entertainment into our family. Vic’s music has swiftly captured the world’s attention, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating with him, his management, and our AVEX partners to support his expanding global presence.”
Victony himself, who recently released the track “Jaga Jaga” featuring AV, also shared his thoughts on the deal and its significance to his artistic journey. He conveyed, “Throughout my career, I’ve been selective about working with teams that understand my path and share my vision. I’m incredibly excited to embark on the next chapter of my career with the AVEX and Coup D’Etat teams, and I’m eager to see what the future holds.”
