This initiative, Africa Rising, launched in 2020, has been a platform for promising talents from across Africa, introducing global audiences to artists like Omah Lay, Rema, Tems, Ayra Starr, and Amaarae.
Continuing its commitment to recognizing emerging musical trends, Apple Music’s Africa Rising campaign kicks off the new year by revealing the Class of ’24. These artists, poised for remarkable careers, align with the program’s dedication to discovering and championing Africa’s rising stars.
The Class of Africa Rising Stars 2024 includes Tyla, the South African pop princess; Bloody Civilian, Nigerian afrobeat artist; OdumoduBlvck, Nigerian rapper; Tyler ICU, South African DJ; and Libianca, the Cameroonian songstress.
